Packaging by box type
Custom packaging by box type
Start from the construction that matches how your product is sold, shipped or presented. Each page explains the styles, materials, printing and options for that type of box, and what to send for a quotation.
All packagingBoxes by style
Know the construction you want? Browse by style.
A box style describes how the box opens, closes and holds the product. Every style page covers the construction, ideal uses, advantages and limits, materials, finishes, inserts and exactly what to include in a quote request.
All box stylesIncluded on every order
Custom packaging quotes often carry costs that only appear later: a tooling charge, lamination as an extra line, delivery added at the end. Ours are built the other way round.
Free Shipping
Delivery is included on every order. Your quotation confirms the delivery address and timing.
Free Lamination
Lamination is included on every order at no extra charge.
No Die Charges
There are no die or cutting-tool charges on any order.
Bespoke packaging
Build packaging around your product
Bespoke packaging starts with the product, not the box. What it weighs, how fragile it is, whether it sits on a shelf or goes through the post, and how the customer should feel when they open it all decide the construction, the board and the finish.

Materials and finishes
The right board, then the right finish
Almost every packaging decision comes back to what the box is made from. The board decides how the box feels, how well it protects, how the print reproduces and which finishes can be applied. We recommend the board with your quotation once we know the product, rather than asking you to choose a thickness.

Finishes
The finish is chosen after the board, because it has to suit the surface underneath it. Lamination is included on every order; everything below is specified on your quotation.

Packaging by industry
Packaging for your sector
Each sector has its own packaging problems: glass that must not touch glass, cartons that carry long ingredient lists, mailers that face a rough courier journey, gift boxes that must look right at the moment they are opened. Our industry pages explain what goes wrong and how we specify against it.
All industriesAgency & trade
For agencies, designers and the trade
Branding agencies, packaging designers, print brokers and resellers use us as the packaging production behind their work. Your client stays your client, proofs and deliveries can carry your branding or none where agreed, and we quote from your designer's dieline or draw one for you.

How an order works
Enquiry and specification
Send the dimensions, quantity, box style, print and finish through the quote form. If you are unsure, describe the product and how it is sold, and we recommend a specification.
Dieline and artwork
We draw a flat dieline for your dimensions. Your designer lays artwork onto it, or our team prepares it with you from your logo and brand colours.
Proof approval
You receive a digital proof showing the artwork on the dieline. Nothing goes into production until you approve it.
Production
The job is printed, finished, cut and glued or assembled to the approved specification, and checked before dispatch.
Delivery
Delivery is included on every order. Your quotation confirms the delivery address and timing.
Repeat orders
Reorders and new sizes, without starting again
The approved dieline, artwork and material specification are kept on record against your job. A reorder of the same box follows the same specification, so it comes back looking the same.
When you add a new product, we specify it against your existing range: the same style, board and finish in new dimensions, so the new box sits beside the old one as part of the family.

Why Custom Boxez
A packaging supplier, not a print shop
We start from the product
A print shop puts your artwork on a box it already makes. We start with what goes inside and work out what the box needs to be: structure, board, insert and finish.
Clear, complete quotations
Your quotation is for the agreed specification, with delivery and lamination included and no die charges, so there are no extra lines to find later.
One supplier across constructions
Rigid boxes, cartons, mailers, corrugated boxes and inserts from one team, which makes it straightforward to keep a range consistent as it grows.
Explained properly
We explain why a board, style or finish suits your product, and we say so when something will not work as intended, before you commit.
FAQs
Frequently asked questions
Anything not covered here, put it in the notes on your quote and we will answer it directly.
Ask on your quoteHow do I get a quote for custom printed boxes?
Use the quote form with your box style, dimensions, quantity, material, printing and finishing requirements. If you are unsure of any of it, describe the product and how it is sold, and our team will recommend a specification and prepare a quotation.
What is the minimum order quantity?
The minimum order is 50 boxes. Unit cost falls as quantity rises because setup is spread across the run, so ask for two or three quantities if you are deciding how many to order.
What determines the price of a custom box?
The box style, dimensions, material, quantity, printing and finishing. Larger boxes use more board, rigid construction costs more than a folding carton, and processes such as foil blocking or spot UV add a step. Share your specification and we will prepare a quotation.
How long does production and delivery take?
It depends on the construction, finishes and quantity. Proofing, board, finishing and hand assembly of rigid boxes all take time. Tell us your required delivery date and our team will confirm whether the timing is achievable.
Can you make a completely custom size?
Yes. Every box is made to your product's dimensions rather than chosen from a stock list, and a dieline is drawn for your job.
Can you print on the inside and outside of the box?
Yes. We print outside only, inside only, or both, in CMYK or Pantone. Inside printing is popular on mailer boxes and gift boxes, where the opening moment matters.
Can you help if I do not have print-ready artwork?
Yes. Send your logo, brand colours and any reference images and our team will prepare the artwork on the dieline with you. If you already have print-ready files, we check them against the dieline before proofing.
Will I see a proof before production?
Yes. A digital proof showing your artwork on the dieline is approved before production begins. Nothing is produced until you sign it off.
Are delivery, lamination and dies really included?
Yes. Free Shipping, Free Lamination and No Die Charges are standard on every order. Your quotation confirms the delivery address and timing.
Can I get a sample?
Ask about sample options when you request your quotation. The options depend on the construction and finish you have chosen.
