Corporate gift packaging
Corporate gift boxes and branded gift packaging for UK businesses
Branded rigid gift boxes, presentation boxes and printed mailers for employee welcome kits, client gifts, events and seasonal campaigns. We design the box and insert around the items you are sending, so every piece has its place, and specify it to be packed in batches and posted to home or office addresses. Finishes include foil blocking, embossing and printed interiors, and orders start from 50 boxes.

Overview
A box that presents your company, not just the gift
A corporate gift is judged by the recipient in the first few seconds of opening it. The same notebook, bottle and mug feel very different in a plain carton and in a rigid box with a fitted insert and a foil logo. The packaging is often the part people remember, and the part that stays on a desk or shelf afterwards.
Corporate gifting briefs usually share three features: mixed items of different sizes and weights, a fixed date such as a start date, a conference or Christmas, and delivery to many individual addresses. We design around all three, with an insert that holds each item, a box that can be stored and packed in batches, and an outer that survives the post.
Branding needs judgement. A gift to clients often works best with understated branding, such as a debossed logo on a coloured wrap, while an employee welcome kit can carry a bolder design and a printed message inside the lid. We can also prepare co-branded designs for agencies and gifting companies working on behalf of a client.
Challenges
What goes wrong with corporate gift packaging, and how we specify against it
Mixed items rattling around
A notebook, a bottle and a pen in one box will collide unless each has its own place. We design a card or EVA insert with a cavity for every item, using the item dimensions you supply, so the box opens as a composed set.
Gift boxes damaged in the post
A rigid presentation box scuffs and dents if it goes through a courier network unprotected. For home and office deliveries we specify a printed or plain mailer box sized to the gift box, so it arrives in the condition you designed.
Storage before packing
Hundreds of assembled rigid boxes take a lot of room. Collapsible rigid boxes and mailers are delivered flat and assembled at packing time, which helps when gifts are packed in an office or by a fulfilment partner.
Dates that cannot move
Welcome days, conferences and Christmas dispatch dates are fixed. Tell us your required delivery date at the start and our team will confirm whether the timing is achievable, and what decisions need to be made by when to keep it.
Different tiers of gift
Many programmes send a larger gift to some recipients and a smaller one to others. We can design a family of boxes that share a wrap, finish and branding, with sizes and inserts that vary by tier.

Materials
Board and materials for corporate gift boxes
Gift programmes mix rigid presentation with corrugated protection. Figures are typical and vary by supplier; the exact specification is confirmed on your quotation.
| Specification | Typical range | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Greyboard (chipboard) with printed wrap | 1.5–2.5 mm | Rigid board for gift and presentation boxes; heavier sets such as bottles use the thicker end. |
| Specialty papers | — | Coloured, textured and uncoated wraps that carry a corporate colour with minimal printing. |
| E flute corrugated board | About 1.5 mm | For printed mailer gift boxes and outer shippers sent to home and office addresses. |
| Folding boxboard (FBB) and SBS | 300–450 GSM | For sleeves, card inserts, message cards and lighter gift cartons. |
Finishes
Finishes that suit the sector
Foil blocking (hot foil stamping)
A foil logo on the lid, the most common corporate gift finish, often in a colour matched to the brand.
Embossing and debossing
A pressed logo that suits understated client gifts.
Soft-touch lamination
A velvet feel on printed wraps that makes a gift box feel considered.
Printed interiors
A welcome message, programme details or a thank-you inside the lid.
Spot UV
A gloss pattern or logo against a matt background for bolder campaign boxes.
Employee welcome and onboarding kits
Welcome kits usually combine branded merchandise, a notebook and a message from the team. A mailer or rigid box with a fitted insert presents them as a set, and a printed message inside the lid makes the first day feel planned. Because new starters join throughout the year, collapsible or flat-packed boxes can be stored and packed as needed.
Client and seasonal gifts
Client gifts at Christmas or after a project are often food, drink or desk items, and the box sets the tone. A magnetic closure or book-style rigid box with understated branding tends to be kept and reused. Specifying an outer mailer at the same time means gifts can be posted without separate packaging.
Event and conference packs
Delegate and speaker packs are handed over rather than posted, so presentation matters more than transit strength. A printed mailer or lid and base box sized for the contents, with a simple insert, keeps packs consistent across hundreds of attendees and is easy to carry.
Hampers and food and drink gift boxes
Hampers combining bottles, jars and wrapped food need an insert that holds heavier items apart and a box strong enough to lift by the base. Food inside a corporate hamper is usually already sealed, so the box is secondary packaging and the full range of wraps and finishes is open to you.
Awards and presentation boxes
Awards, long-service gifts and commemorative items suit a rigid box with an EVA or foam insert cut to the object, so it is held securely and presented properly. A foil or debossed logo and a message inside the lid complete it.
Corporate gifting questions
Questions buyers ask
Anything not covered here, put it in the notes on your quote and we will answer it directly.
Ask on your quoteWhat is the best box for a corporate gift?
A rigid magnetic closure or book-style box with a fitted insert is the most common choice, because it is kept and reused. For gifts posted to home addresses, add a mailer box sized to the gift box.
Can you design an insert for our mix of items?
Yes. Send us the dimensions of each item, or the items themselves if the sizes are uncertain, and we will design a card or EVA insert with a cavity for each.
Can gift boxes be posted to individual addresses?
Yes, with the right outer. A rigid gift box should travel inside a mailer or corrugated shipper sized to it. We specify the two together so the gift box arrives undamaged.
Can we have different box sizes for different recipients?
Yes. We can design a family of boxes that share the same wrap, finish and branding, with sizes and inserts that change by tier.
Do you work with agencies and gifting companies?
Yes. We work with agencies and gifting businesses producing packaging for their clients, including co-branded designs. Tell us who approves the artwork so proofs go to the right person.
What is the minimum order for corporate gift boxes?
Orders start from 50 boxes. For tiered programmes, tell us the quantity of each size and we will confirm the options on your quotation.
Can you meet a fixed date such as a conference or Christmas?
Tell us your required delivery date at enquiry and our team will confirm whether the timing is achievable. Rigid boxes take longer than cartons because they are assembled by hand, so earlier is better for large programmes.
Do you pack the gifts into the boxes?
We supply the packaging. The boxes are delivered to your address, flat or assembled depending on the construction, ready for you or your fulfilment partner to pack. Delivery is included on every order.
