Accessibility statement
Effective
Custom Boxez Limited wants everyone to be able to use this website, including people who use assistive technology. This statement explains the standard we are working to, the parts of the site we know may not yet be fully accessible, and how to get information in another way or tell us about a problem.
Our standard
We are working to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) version 2.2 at level AA. These guidelines explain how to make websites easier to use for people with visual, hearing, motor, cognitive and other access needs.
Our aim is that you should be able to:
- move around the whole site, including menus, forms and the chat assistant, using only a keyboard, with a clearly visible focus indicator;
- zoom text up to 200% and use the site on a small screen without content being cut off;
- use the site with a screen reader, with headings, labels and text alternatives that describe the content;
- read text with enough colour contrast, and reduce animation if you have set that preference on your device;
- complete the quote form with clear labels, instructions and error messages.
How accessible this website is
We have built the website with accessibility in mind, but we have not yet completed a full audit against WCAG 2.2 AA, so we cannot yet say that every page meets the standard. We know about the following limitations:
- Photographs and product images: some images may not yet have text alternatives that fully describe the construction or finish shown. Where a finish such as foil blocking or soft-touch lamination is best understood by sight or touch, we also describe it in the page text.
- Aura, our AI chat assistant: new replies may not always be announced clearly by every screen reader, and because answers are generated automatically their structure can vary. You can always ask the same question by email or phone instead.
- File uploads in the quote form: uploading artwork can be difficult with some assistive technologies. You can email your files to quotes@customboxez.co.uk instead.
- Documents and technical drawings: dielines, proofs and other PDF or image files we send you may not be accessible to screen readers. We can describe them or talk you through them.
- Third-party features: the cookie banner and any tools provided by other services may not fully meet the standard.

Reporting a problem
If you find part of the website hard to use, or you think we are not meeting the standard, please tell us by email at quotes@customboxez.co.uk. Include the address of the page and a short description of the problem. Your feedback helps us put it right.
If you are not happy with how we respond, you can contact the Equality Advisory and Support Service (EASS) for advice.
What we are doing to improve
We plan to carry out a full review of the website against WCAG 2.2 AA, using automated checks and manual testing with a keyboard and screen readers, and to update this statement with the date of the review, what it covered and the issues we are fixing.
We also plan to check new pages and features, including changes to Aura and the quote form, for accessibility before they are released.
Technical information
This website relies on HTML, CSS and JavaScript to work with your browser and any assistive technology you use. It is intended to work with current versions of common browsers and screen readers.
